If you’re looking for a farm-to-table menu in San Diego, look to Farmers Bottega for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the Mission Hills neighborhood. Farmer’s Bottega is a classy and higher end eatery in Uptown San Diego, the kind of place that is perfect for a romantic evening out, business meeting, or family get together. You’ll feel the rustic farmhouse vibes and have many exquisite and organic plates to choose from.

Our Dinner at Farmer’s Bottega

For our starters, we nibbled on Fried Green Tomatoes. These crispy delights are fantastically delicious. We also tried the flavorful P.E.I. Mussels which oozed with roasted flavorful cherry tomatoes, smoked bacon, capers and garlic. Magnificent!

Our gourmet dinner did not disappointment with Stuffed Quail and Buffalo Filet. Their Stuffed Quail is made with a herb & honey rub, manchego, andouille sausage, raisins and herb soft polenta, and their tender Buffalo Filet is a juicy cut of meat that comes with unforgettable garlic mashed potatoes.

Our Dessert at Farmer’s Bottega

If you love chocolate, this might be San Diego’s best Molten Chocolate Cake! Save room, you’ll be glad you did! Other dessert options are New York Cheesecake, Mango Coconut Cake, Molten Chocolate Cake, Creme Brulee and Sorbet of the Day.

The only downfall is this restaurant does get busy during dinner time. If you’re there by 5pm, you’ll miss the big rush, and enjoy all this cozy fine dining destination has to offer.
