San Diego, get ready to watch the premiere of Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Secret Ocean this summer starting July 3rd, 2015 at the Ruben H. Fleet IMAX Dome Theatre in Balboa Park! Jean-Michel Cousteau, the son of ocean pioneer Jacques Cousteau, invites San Diego to dive into the mysterious and wonderful world of the ocean.
Most of the underwater filming takes place in the Bahamas, Fiji and Bimini. You will learn about 30 different ocean species such as the giant clam, which can weigh a whopping 400 pounds and live for more than a hundred years. Other animals you will meet are the octopus, basket star, and much more.
